As people from around the world rush to Haiti to give helping hands, what are you doing to help the Haitian people recover after the deadly earthquake? Many are sending donations through charities. Which charity do you believe is the most reliable? If you already have or will send a donation, which charity would you give it to? Tell us how you feel about the situation in Haiti and what you think will be the end result.

I think the American Red Cross is the most reliable. I must admit that I have not send a donation yet. I have considered donating after some discussion with my high school students and with my sorority members. If I send a donation, I will send it through the Red Cross. So far, I have offered prayer for the people of Haiti. I think of the situation in Haiti as devastating, and I think the country's leaders will organize and implement earthquake readiness plans for the future. This organization and planning will take a long time and will require outside help.
