473,000 Jobs Lost In June

For April, May and June the monthly average drop in jobs was 492,000, according to an ADP report. Construction jobs fell by 97,000. The largest decrease for the month was in medium-sized businesses, or those with 50 to 499 workers. They lost 205,000 jobs.
Big businesses, which have over 500 employees, lost 91,000 jobs in June, while small businesses lost 177,000. ADP, a human resources and payroll processing business, studied about 500,000 U.S. companies for the report. (Orlando Business Journal)
