Earthquake Causes Chilean City To Move 10 Feet

According to CNN, the city of Concepcion was moved at least 10 feet after the recent magnitude 8.8 earthquake in Chile.
Other parts of South America were also moved, including Chile's capital, Santiago, about 11 inches west-southwest. The measurements were taken by global positioning satellites from before and after the earthquake.

On Monday, June 28, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a Chicago handgun ban in a far-reaching ruling that makes it unconstitutional for states and local governments to restrict the right of Americans to own guns.
The 5-4 majority ruling extended to all cities and states the Supreme Court's 2008 landmark affirmation that Americans have the constitutional right -- as enshrined in the Second Amendment -- to own weapons, including handguns.
