Houston Teacher Deanna Higgins Charged With Having Sex With Student

Deanna Higgins, a science teacher in the Houston suburb of Spring, Texas, has been charged with two felonies — one count of sexual assault of a child and another count of having an improper relationship with a student. Higgins has taught at Spring High School since January 2008. (Houston Chronicle)
