One In Five Brooklyn School Students Is Homeless

Public School 636, a Brooklyn school where one in five kids is homeless and living at one of 10 area shelters, has after-school programs that parents say have transformed their lives. The students are dancing, cooking, fencing or building robots until 6 p.m. (New York Daily News)
