Toyota Could Pay $3 Billion Over Class Action Lawsuits

According to USA Today, at least 89 class action lawsuits filed against Toyota after malfunctions causing safety recalls may cost the company $3 billion.
The estimation does not include other settlements that may arise from injury and wrongful death lawsuits against the automaker. About 6 million separate claims are estimated to be included in the class action suits.
