Things happen each week that baffle us, amuse us, or just make us angry. Unfortunately, we can't respond to everything, so here's a quick roundup of five things that caught our attention this week.
1. News came this week that singer Robin Thicke and actress (Precious) Paula Patton are expecting a boy. This must be every guy's dream because Thicke sounds super excited about teaching his son about girls and music one day. Congratulations to the beautiful couple.
2. Cincinnati Bengal's receiver Chris Henry died after falling from the bed of a pickup truck during a domestic dispute with his fiancee. The fiancee reportedly drove away from the argument and Henry jumped into the back of the truck to continue the fight. Domestic disputes/violence seem to be in the headlines on the regular these days and athletes, well, they're not doing so well as a whole.
3. Kendra Wilkinson, star of the E! show Kendra showed off the first pictures of her baby boy, Hank Baskett IV in OK! magazine. Kendra delivered the baby via C-section after planning a natural birth. The show will no doubt have more viewers as they watch the new family develop and grow.
4. Snoop Dogg is the latest celebrity to join the ranks of people who want to save Tiger. He talked to the ladies over at The View this week about Tiger and his own relationship with his wife. Snoop said that he had to take himself out of that light and focus his energy on his wife and kids. It's a very cute video check it out below.
5. Since 2003, Iraqi women have been required to cover themselves from head to toe. Now in Baghdad, NPR reports that the climate for more revealing, Western clothing is steadily improving. Things are still tight on the streets, but in social settings women are dressing differently thanks to the fashions sold in the clothing shop of Ali Mohammed. This story is very inspirational just in terms of women's freedom and choice to dress however they'd like.
