This was probably the most honest response I have read and heard all day.
I wish someone had asked Reid to explain exactly what his interpretation of a "Negro dialect" is. Obviously, he and all the other folks with whom he discusses the issue of Negroes, apparently have an understanding of a "Negro dialect." I sure would've like to have seen journalists ask the question rather than rush to defend the guy from an onslaught of political punditry. Makes me wonder if journalists are more loyal to their politics than exposing truth to the public.
