Work For Us

TheLoop21.com is an office environment that thrives on energetic, hard-working, critical and strategic thinkers. We live to write and write to live, so excellent writing skills are a must! We value integrity, creativity and commitment and function as a team.

We typically use stories from reporters in our Los Angeles-area office and from a trusted, nationwide network of paid, freelance journalists throughout the country. If you’d like to contribute an opinion article, pitch a story, or are interested in a partnership with TheLoop21, please contact us at editor@theloop21.com.

We also offer a year-round, internship program. College students and recent graduates produce their own multimedia stories and assist staff reporters and editors either in our office or remotely. During the Fall and Spring semesters, interns will receive course credit(s). Interns are expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during the course of the semester. Evening and weekend hours are also available for our interns. Summer internships are paid and highly selective. To apply, send a note telling us why you’re interested, your resume and up to three samples of your work to internships@theloop21.com.
