Dwayne Johnson, wife and kids test positive for coronavirus

On his home front, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson shared some bad news: he and his family screened the coronavirus positively. Johnson announced their diagnosis on Wednesday on Instagram in an 11-plus minute video. After hearing their positive reports he said he was surprised, calling the experience “one of the most frustrating and unpleasant things we’ve ever had to endure.”

The actor said he had contracted the virus along with his wife, Lauren Hashian, and two young daughters, but have now recovered. After getting sore throats for a few days, he said his daughters “bounced back.” He said they both had a “bad go” for Johnson and his wife though.

Johnson said the virus had been identified by close family members, who told him they didn’t know where they contracted the virus. Johnson said he had been more aware of the ordeal. He made a variety of recommendations for battling the infection, such as wearing a mask, improving the immune system and committing to wellness.
