Thailand ‘s Minister at the Office of the Prime Minister, Tewan Liptapanlop, would resign Monday, his party spokeswoman told Reuters, and will be Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha ‘s fifth member cabinet to leave in less than five days.

Yaowapa Boorapolchai, spokeswoman for the Chart Pattana Party, said the party leadership had agreed that Tewan would quit his cabinet post to pave the way for a cabinet reshuffle. Chart Pattana is one of Prayuth ‘s 20 government coalition member, and holds only one cabinet position.

The resignation of Tewan would follow that of Finance Minister Uttama Savanayana, Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak and two other ministers who left the cabinet of Prayuth on Thursday.
