India-China Joint Moon exploration would strengthen challenge and relations in the US space dominance
India’s second lunar mission – Chandrayaan-2 developed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), using Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III, blasted off from the Sriharikota area station, on 22 July 29, 2019. The mission will send an orbiter, lander, and rover to explore the south pole of the moon. Post-launch, the Chinese language Overseas Ministry offered to work together with India and explore space. This joint work could improve the bilateral relations. And start an initiative to counter USA’s ambition regarding dominance in space.
China’s lunar mission, the Change 4 which is second lunar lander and rover project, successfully reached the Moon on January 2019. The Chinese government believes that joint operation with India would be a shared mission of humankind. Which is aimed to learn more about moon. Sharing knowledge and working together in space study could also provide a path to compete with the USA, who is planning for supremacy in space. This could be interested to work collectively to compete with the USA who intends to travel very soon to the Moon and form a base.
