PM Narendra Modi addresses the nation and gave his speech. This is his 4th Independence day speech. As he promised earlier he shortens his speech. The reason behind limiting his speech is that he got comments from people about his speech. The audience felt his speech is too little long. Before unfurling the national flag, he paid his tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat.
