2017, August 15: 71st Independence Day speech by Narendra Modi:
Whole India is celebrating 70 years of Independence. On this occasion, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the tri colored flag before the thousands of soldiers, Indian army officers, VIPs and audiences in Red Fort, New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi addresses the nation and gave his speech. This is his 4th Independence day speech. As he promised earlier he shortens his speech. The reason behind limiting his speech is that he got comments from people about his speech. The audience felt his speech is too little long. Before unfurling the national flag, he paid his tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat.
Independence day: Let us get united to achieve New India:
India has faced so many challenges in these 7o years period. We sorted out so many problems as well. Now the present biggest challenge which all Indians are dreaming about is making ” New India.” He shared the specialties of this year are 75th Anniversary of Quit India movement, 100th Anniversary of Champaran Satyagraha, 125th Anniversary of Sarvjinik Ganesh Utsav and primarily 71st Independence day.
The Prime Minister said about the changes which take place by the implementation of Demonetisation. The main purpose of passing this rule into the public is to put an end for Black Money.
The Prime Minister highlight the implementation of GST. The whole world in shock about the implantation of GST with in short time and running successfully. All the citizens have been supporting this rule by following it. Those who are not honest will face the difficulties of following this rule.
He mentioned about the lords Sri Krishna and Sri Rama. He said that we should consider them as our role models. Everything is possible when all the Indians stand together. Every citizen of India should join shoulder to shoulder to achieve incredible India.
The Prime Minister quoted about Jammu and Kashmir. In the process of solving problems, we should not go beyond our principles like Non-violence which is proposed by the great freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi. We can not the solving any issue by abusing or by bullets but it possible by embracing everyone. (Na gaali se, Na goli se, parivartan hoga gale lagaane se).
Prime Minister said in his speech that casteism, communalism will not give peace to India. It would be possible when all Indians stands Unitidly. He pointed the role of the youth of India. He also mentioned about the importance of educating a woman.
He appreciates the role of farmers and agricultural scientist in increasing the crop production of this year. Whatever the technical rules were implemented by the government to simplify the process of the system. This helps to make Digital India.
