BJP won in Gujarat Elections: Modi thanks to Gujarat people

New Delhi:

After nail-biting, twists and turns, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won sixth-time against Congress in Gujarat Assembly election. As per the Election Commission, the BJP won Gujarat Assembly elections by winning 99 seats and the Congress gave a tough fight to the Bharatiya Janata Party by winning 77 seats in 182-member Gujarat assembly.

Bharatiya Janata Party  President Amit Shah also said thanks to the Gujarat people for their faith in the party.

I bow to the people of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh for their affection and trust in BJP. I assure them that we will leave no stone unturned in furthering the development journey of these states and serve the people tirelessly, PM Modi tweeted.

PM Modi tweeted BJP’s impressive victory in Himachal Pradesh indicates that people of the state rejected misgovernance of the Congress Government and wants a Government that is not corrupt and can deliver. BJP will provide good and honest governance to Devbhoomi Himachal.

The victory in Gujarat is special. Starting from 1989, people of Gujarat have been blessing BJP in every Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha election. It is an honour to be serving Gujarat for so many years. We will continue to work for Gujarat’s growth, said Modi.

For me, Gujarat polls are a matter of double joy. I am so happy that after I left the state, my colleagues there continued the good work, PM Modi tweeted.

Modi said I salute to all the members of BJP for their hard work which has led the victory in both Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. Victory in Gujarat elections is not a normal thing because the victory is the example that people accepted the GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Modi thanked the people of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh for their trust on the Party. Probably the result of Gujarat Assembly elections 2019 and Himachal Pradesh elections 2017 will have a impact on 2019 elections for both the parties.
