New Delhi: Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu took oath as 13th vice president of India.This ceremony commenced on August 11th at Durbar hall of Rashtrapati Bhawan.The Oath ceremony administrated to Venkaiah Naidu by President Ram Nath Kovind. Venkaiah Naidu is a Former Union Minister and Veteran BJP leader in recent vice president elections Naidu won against the opposition leader Gopal Krishna Gandhi.Gopalkrishna Gandhi is a retired IAS officer and he is the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.

This Oath ceremony was taken place in the presence of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, BJP senior leader L.K.Adwani, central Ministers from all parties and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former President Pranab Mukerji. Before going to Oath ceremony Naidu paid his tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat, Sardhar Valla Bhai Patel at Patel Chowk, and to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya at DDU park. August 11 evening at 5 pm Venkaiah  Naidu going to meet our President Ram Nath Kovind.

Naidu’s Travelling:

Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu was born in 1949 on July 1st in Chavatapalem, Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. He completed his schooling from V.R.High school and he finished his bachelor’s degree in politics in  V.R.College. He has done BL from Andhra University College of Law, Vishakapatnam. He was played as president of students union of colleges during his studies. He shows very active participation in politics since his college days. The significant role of Naidu at the time of Jai Andhra Movement in 1972 brought him into the limelight. He was imprisoned during the Emergency between 1975-1977 and he became a president of the youth wing of Andhra Pradesh. He got married M.Usha in 1970 on April 14.

Political career:

Venkaiah Naidu is one among the great brilliant leaders we have today in the politics. He has great oratory skills and he is one of the inspiring personality, and he always amazes audiences with his mind blowing speeches. His oratory skills and his active participation and spontaneous response towards the situations paves a path for his political career. He has a great grip on handling the situations. He set an example for all the next generation and for those who felt low about them that nothing is impossible when u have a focus, wisdom, hard working nature to reach the highest positions. He was elected twice as an MLA of Andhra Pradesh from Udayagiri constituency in Nellore District in 1978 and 1983. He worked as a leader in BJP legislative party in 1980 to 1985. He held a position called General secretary of Andhra Pradesh from BJP in 1985 to 1988. Three times he was elected as a member of Rajya Sabha from Karnataka. In 2001 he was elected as a Minister Rural Development. Since 2005 he is the  National vice president of Bharatiya Janata Party. From 2014 to 2017 he held the posts, Minister of Urban Development and Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs. He is elected as Minister of Information and Broad casting in 2016-2017.
