The Taiwanese company Asus has announced that next July it will launch the new member of the family of ‘smartphones’ for video games, the ROG Phone 3 . Asus has confirmed the launch date of the new ROG Phone 3 through a post on its account on the Chinese microblog network Weibo .
In addition, the company has stated in the publication that it is collaborating with Tencent Games , the largest Chinese mobile software company in the country, for the design of its new gamer phone. ” Tencent Games will again engage in-depth cooperation with ROG Gaming Phone in China, focusing on optimizing game content on ‘hardware’ to create a closer gaming experience,” the publication notes.
The ROG Phone 3 will be the third generation of the company’s family of video game mobiles, after last year it launched the Asus ROG Phone 2 , the first device to integrate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. Asus’ new gamer device is expected to include the Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 16GB RAM, and an advanced hybrid cooling system.
