TVS has updated almost all the two-wheelers to BS6 emission requirements. But TVS Scooty Zest 110 scooters and TVS Victor bikes are also not compliant with BS6. The firm has said it is working on the Scooty Zest 110 variant of the BS6. It is scheduled to launch in the next few weeks. TVS released BS6 Scooty Zest 110’s teaser in April, and soon informed about its launch. Apart from this, no further details of the modified scooter were released by the firm.
TVS Scooty Zest 110 is specially built with the female customers in mind. The BS6 variant of the scooter is required to have fuel injection feature. The power of the BS6 engine can be slightly less than that of the BS4 model. In BS4 edition, the Scooty Zest engine produces 7.8 bhp power at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
There are two versions of the Scooty Zest 110 scooter, namely the Mat series and the Himalayan hygge series. They cost Rs 54,025 in the BS4 version, and Rs 52,525 respectively. The BS6 Scooty Zest is planned to be introduced with a marginally higher price in those two models. An updated scooter’s price may be kept as high as 5-7 thousand Rs. Talking about the design The TVS scooter will have telescopic forks in the front and hydraulic mono-shock suspension in the rear as before. Speaking of braking it will get 110 mm front drum and 130 mm rear drum brakes.
